On October 10, 2021, the freshman Xiaolin FENG accompanied Prof. Fang YUAN to guest Prof. Xiaogang YE’s public lecture. Prof. Fang YUAN is a renowned pianist and piano professor, who obtained a double-major doctoral degree from Germany, and is also a distinguished professor of the School of Music of CUHK-Shenzhen. Based on her own learning experience, and her education in Germany, Prof. Fang YUAN talked about certain issues regarding learning the piano, playing the piano and its different styles and genres. In the lecture, Prof. Fang YUAN emphasized the importance of personalized teaching for music schools to cultivate talents, and demonstrated by providing guidance for Xiaolin FENG on the spot, turning the lecture into a vivid music class for the audience as well.

The program is a music public lecture, hosted by Prof. Xiaogang YE, who is the Chairman of China Musicians Association, Dean of the School of Music of CUHK-Shenzhen, Professor of the Central Conservatory of Music and a famous composer. Famous musicians and artists are invited to guest on the program through online and offline platforms. Through this program, many influential artists can share their views about music creation, music education and aesthetic education with the audience, who care about and love music and art, so as to exchange different ideas, promote aesthetic education, social and moral awareness and the culture of our society.
