The Peer-Review Results and Schedule of ICMC 2023 are Announced
The call for submission and the peer-review of International Computer Music Conference 2023 have been completed successfully. The ICMC 2023, hosted by the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the International Computer Music Association, invited submissions of music works, papers, installations, workshops and demos from composers, musicians and researchers. We received nearly 800 works submitted by authors from more than 30 countries and regions around the world, which is the largest number of submissions received in recent years in ICMCs. The host of the conference organized more than 200 experts, scholars and composers from different countries and regions serving as peer reviewers, and made multiple double-blind reviews for each work. After more than a month of peer-reviewing, 310 works were selected and they will be presented during the conference.
The International Computer Music Conference 2023 will be held from October 15th to 20th this year. Guests from more than 30 countries and regions are expected to attend the conference in person and online during the six days. The ICMC 2023 will consist of about 20 concerts, 2 keynote speeches, 10 paper sessions, 4 workshops, 12 interactive installations and 3 music industry lectures. Please stay tuned!

The International Computer Music Conference 2023 will be held in Shenzhen, China, from October 15th to 20th, 2023. It will be hosted by the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the International Computer Music Association. The ICMC is the largest and most important international academic conference in the field of computer music. It is held annually in different countries and regions around the world, and it has been held for 47 years since 1974. As an innovative academic platform, which integrates music, art, culture, science, technology, and other disciplines, the ICMC has received extensive attention in the music and technology community and music industry thanks to its academic quality and leading role.
