LUO Xu, a young collaborative pianist, is currently serving as a lecturer at the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

LUO Xu has studied piano performance since childhood and completed his professional piano performance training at the Affiliated High School to a master's degree in Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He was taught by the famous pianist Professor Wu Chi. He has held several piano solo concerts, and his solid playing skills and delicate music interpretation have been widely praised in the industry. During his study and work, he got acquainted with collaborative piano art and devoted himself to study and research in this field. He has accumulated a large number of vocal and instrumental music tracks, which have been recognized and favored by many music art groups and experts. He has successfully cooperated with groups and venues such as the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra, Chengdu City Concert Hall, Tianfu Cloud Concert Hall, and Shangyin Opera House, and played piano accompaniment for various kinds of chamber music, vocal music, and folk music concerts, and was invited to rehearse and accompany and artistic director for many operas, including Cosi fan tutti and Gianni Schicchi. He was employed as the designated artistic director of "The Chinese Art Song International Vocal Competition", "National Style Song" Chinese Art Song Competition, and other competitions, and was invited to play piano accompaniment for the vocal master classes of internationally renowned singers and vocal educators such as Salvatore Ragonese, Liang Ning, Shi Yijie, Fan Jingma, etc.

LUO started to work as a collaborative pianist at the School of Music, CUHK-Shenzhen in 2021. His major working responsibility is the piano accompaniment for the daily teaching at the Chamber Music Division. Besides, he also has actively appeared in numerous performances in the Greater Bay Area, such as “The Pure Sound” chamber concert of the 1st Chamber Festival, and “The Common Voice of GBA”, School of Music CUHK-Shenzhen chamber concert.

LUO Xu's piano collaboration art is especially favored by young musicians. He has helped many young singers win top competitions at home and abroad with his stable and solid accompaniment techniques and unique and delicate music interpretation. Due to his outstanding performance in the competition, he won the Gold Medal of Piano Accompaniment Group of the 2017 China-Europe International Vocal Music Festival, the Peacock Cup Outstanding Artistic Director of National Art College Performance, and the Outstanding Artistic Director of the Sichuan Division of Golden Bell Award.
