The Composition & Theory Division faculty comprises world-class composers and theorists, whose musical works have won many awards and have been commissioned and performed by famous symphony orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and art institutions worldwide. The division currently offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctor of Music program in Music Composition and Theory, which are designed to develop top-level professionals in composition and music theory. The program features world-class teaching and learning environment, enabling students to get the highest level of professional training in an education system that integrates teaching, research, creative work, and musical performance. Meanwhile, the division also encourages students’ entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and ability to initiate and to serve the society.
